How we vet suppliers before we buy

We do not claim perfection. We do claim diligence. Before committing to a supplier, we look for clear, practical indicators that they operate responsibly.

  • We ask for documentation where available, including material specs and compliance information.
  • We assess durability and end-of-life, reuse, recyclability, and sorting simplicity.
  • We prefer sensible logistics and shorter supply chains within Europe when it improves oversight and reduces unnecessary transit.
  • We avoid suppliers who cannot answer basic questions about sourcing and production consistency.

Materials we use

We select components to balance beauty, function, and responsibility. This includes:

  • Long-lasting vessels designed to be reused or recycled.
  • Recyclable outer packaging where possible, with minimal unnecessary layers.
  • Paper-based labels and inserts selected for durability and lower-impact production routes.
  • Protective packing that avoids excessive plastics and prioritises material efficiency.

Vegan, cruelty-free, and mindful by design

Our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We build every formula and product decision around plant-based materials and ethical sourcing. Our public-facing communication stays focused on the experience and the ritual, without exposing specific formula details.
