How to use this aromatherapy ritual for grounding and stability
- Step 1 · Mark out a small, steady corner. Choose a low table, bedside, or shelf and clear it of clutter. Place the Stillroot candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface with nothing hanging above it. If you use the oil blend, keep it nearby with a small diffuser, aroma stone, or neutral body oil.
- Step 2 · Let scent and breath pull you downward. Light the candle and, if you like, add one or two drops of the oil blend to your chosen carrier. Keep the bottle out of reach of children and pets. As the aroma spreads, sit with your feet firmly on the floor. Inhale slowly through the nose, exhale a little longer through the mouth, and silently say “down” or “here” as you breathe out.
- Step 3 · Close the ritual by returning to the body. Before you extinguish the candle, place a hand on your chest or your belly and notice three things: weight of your body on the chair, contact of your feet with the floor, rhythm of your breathing. Extinguish the flame, let the smoke clear, and carry that grounded feeling into whatever you do next.
